Your Browser will open to the Winds and Waves page in Medium.com. The current and past articles that from Winds and Waves show up here. You can always read whatever ones you wish without signing in or subscribing.
If you want to get notices when new items are added to Winds and Waves, click on the “Sign In” on the top right of the page (circled in red in the image above). A box will appear giving you the option of signing up through Google, Facebook Twitter or email. According to Medium’s privacy policy, signing up with one of the first three would give Medium permission to access information you have on those sites, (lists of friends, etc.). If you don’t want to be passing on your information to Medium, then choose the email option. Once you enter your email address and click continue you will see the message:
“We just emailed a confirmation link to (your account). Click the link to complete your account set-up.”
Open your inbox and find the email from Medium. Click on the button to click on to confirm your connection and go back to Winds and waves. When the Winds and waves page opens, click on the word “Follow” In the middle right side of the page just above the picture. A box will appear saying
| You are following Winds and Waves You will be notified when Winds and Waves publishes new stories Receive Letters in your inboxView publication Unfollow Publication |
You are now subscribed and should be getting notices. Click on “View publication” to close the box and enjoy reading.
In the future, if you want to visit Winds and Waves, use the “click here” above or better save Winds and Waves address in your “favorites” on your browser. When you come back there is no need to sign in, you can just start looking at what you want to read.
