Capacity Building Volunteer

Objective: Support the organizational development of ICA Côte d’Ivoire.

Roles and Responsibilities: ICA Côte d’Ivoire seeks an experienced, professional volunteer to support its organisational development in the areas of: 1) management and governance; 2) community development project design and implementation; and 3) fundraising and project proposal development. Specific responsibilities will vary based upon the volunteer’s background and interests.

Qualifications

• Capacity building and community development experience, preferably in Sub-Saharan Africa.
• Project proposal development experience.
• Highly motivated self-starter, comfortable working independently and as a team, in a variety of contexts and environments.
• Fluency in French.
• Ability to remain in Côte d’Ivoire for a minimum of two years.
• Financially self-supporting (no remuneration will be provided).
