For those interested in how ICA’s Certified ToP Facilitator (CTF) designation relates to the Certified Professional Facilitator (CPF) designation of the International Association of Facilitators (IAF), here is our latest work on the subject.
There are 74 IAF facilitation competencies and 171 ToP facilitation competencies. The ToP competency framework covers almost all the IAF competencies, but there are many ToP competencies that are over and above those of IAF.
This is most interesting to those who want IAF certification. One can get certified by IAF, then go on to get ToP Certified. On the other hand, anyone who is already ToP certified will likely be able to pass the IAF assessment.
