ICA Zimbabwe hosts regional meeting for peer-to-peer collaboration on HIV/AIDS

Zim50 meetingIn March we had an opportunity to have a meeting in Zimbabwe. This was part of peer-to-peer support whereby three ICAs were invited to learn about the Zimbabwe HIV campaign called Zim50, supported by ICA USA.

The invited ICAs were ICA Tanzania, ICA Kenya and ICA Zambia. The photo shows their respective Directors Charles Luoga, Meshak Mutevu, Voice Vingo with ICA Zimbabwe Director Gerald Gomani. Participants in this meeting also included staff from ICA Zimbabwe and Louise Singleton and Jane Spalding from ICA USA.

Zim50 fieldWe had an opportunity to learn what ICA Zimbabwe did in Zim50, and at the end we prepared a small proposal to go and market this kind of project in our countries. The marketing exercise will be financially supported by ICA USA. We also had a chance to go through the tool kit/ box to be used in replication of Zim50 in other places. This kit will be shared and published soon by ICA Zimbabwe.

Thank you to our brother Gerald Gomani for hosting us, we were always in safe hands. Thank you very much madam Louise for your support to Africa.
